Saxophone Christmas in Sacramento?

As San Jose Saxophone Christmas has grown, many players have asked for an additional event to be scheduled for the Sacramento area. I know that many players travel from the Sacramento area to play in San Jose and would appreciate an event closer to home. And I think having an event in our state's capital would attract even more musicians (including some who might want to do both events).

I have begun to explore this for 2009, and have been scouting both indoor and outdoor performance venues, as well as a rehearsal location. It would be helpful to know about how many players we might have.

Please let me know if you would be seriously interested in attending a Saxophone Christmas in or around Sacramento on Saturday, December 6, 2009. This is not a commitment, but having an estimate will help me confirm appropriate venues.
